Music atm: Enter Sandman – Metallica

I know I’ve been negleting my blog ;__; Time to pour some life into it!
My predictions to the last week came true – it was, indeed, a work-filled week and I really didn’t have any free time. And I thought in the end of such a rushed week I’d be ready to let the frustration go into some artwork~ I say, after the moment I figured out the work was delivered and my peers no longer needed me, I jumped into the art world! But it really didn’t come out as I expected. You see, the will and the power were there, but the inspiration seemed to have gone on vacations and drawing became a boring and hard task. It made me so frustrated I finally gave up on what I was doing. It wasn’t looking good anyway!
Anywaay, I let the weekend go, I slept over it (I can’t remember sleeping for so many hours) and it was Monday already, right when another work-filled week was about to start that… The imagination came! Oh and the will to draw :3 Finally, drawing was no longer a test to my patience and things were coming out just nicely. And I got to say hi to my tablet in a fairly decent way! Take a look at the results:
I must add the texture I used isn’t mine, but I made sure I had the permission to use it ;3
Ok, I know there aren’t that many changes to my style, but I think of this as a kind of “come back” to the old days where I used to make crappy wallpapers to post on MiniTokyo.net. This was back when I was 15. It was another world, I assure you. I can still remember some of the eye-bleeding techniques I used back then and I guess I used some just because I can :D I feel it is time to let the pressure go. You know, that pressure you build when you feel like everything you do will be subject to evaluation? Because back then, I couldn’t care less about what others thought of my work, even tho I posted them on the internet, I did that because I could and I would make those wallpapers the way I liked (crappy, but still free) and because they were this escape… And I’d love to have drawing feeling like that again – having it as an escape, not an obligation of some sort, as it was unfortunately becoming~
Well, I guess I’ve talked about this for long enough now. I still have a lot of vices to take care of.
This week I learnt what HTTP is!! And more stuff is yet to come! I don’t know why, but I got a feeling this semester’s going nicely.
