Because today I have made – behold – another lasagna! But not any lasagna, my people, no, it’s a spinach lasagna!
I really like spinaches, but I hardly ever eat it. Actually, I hardly ever find it for sale, either I’m really more short-sighted than I thought or spinach is some weird, secret delicacy.
But I got my hands on some today and I couldn’t let the chance flee from me, so yeah, I made a lasagna and let me tell you – it was delicious! I’m the best, I’m best cooker ever. I could open a meth lab. There was a short comming thought: I didn’t know spinach tended to shrink that much upon cookery. So I thought I bought a lot of spinach and I would still have tons for other experiments, but I figured I should have bought at least twice as much. Maybe three times as much. There was no way near of enough lasagna. But it tasted to delightfull it was totally worth it.

I think someone tried to exorcise our computers by using coffee, I have to say I do consider that to be an efficient strategy, I mean, if you’re willing to kill the Ghost in the Machine, you ought use coffe, it is known. Coffee kills all.
The world has been trying to make me jelly about it having Copics markers while I had none. I keep on hearing about how cool these are and how great they’re for arts. After long, long consideration – and obvisouly after knowing they were actually for sale around here – I decided I could spend a fucking bunch of money on a pack of those. Yolo, right?
I have to say it was a great decision! It’s instant relax, I’ll end up spending less money on these markers than I would at a phychologist.

Ah! Today was a good day. I should also add that this was also a good weekend!
On the morning I went for the Women’s Run with a friend and it was really fun – although we didn’t really run, there were so many women there it was almost impossible. But it was loads of fun, hundreds of people were there and we didn’t take that long (around 1:20 if I recall it properly). It was a nice way to start the day, especially considering when I woke I was feeling like all but going. But then it was worth it!
Since I had lots of excitement this week (with that surprising a friend and whatnot), all I wanted was a quiet weekend. I’ve been watching all the Breaking Bad I have negleted yesterday and today seemed like the perfect time to get into arts too!
Since the other day I heard my friend saying she’d been called a swallow – because she’s never in the same place for lone, I guess? – I had this brilliant idea of drawing her with a hair made out of swallows. This, of course, looks and sounds a lot better on my mind than anything I can actually produce, but I gave it a try anyways.
It’s been a long time since I practiced my perspective-drawing skills and I can say I am very rusty:
I was hoping to paint the jacket black, but black can be quite hard to achieve with watercolors (in my experience and if I am willing to do things fast), so I went for a dark purple. I had to mix the purple I had with a little brown to make it darker, but in the end I just fell in love with the color!
I had no idea what to do with the background and, since I like painting clouds, I decided to make that my relaxing moment and painted lots and lots of clouds. Why not? More clouds, clouds are good.
Then I wanted to create a splatter effect with white over the picture and I manage to do so while painting my computer white too, because why not?
Then the product was finally finished, but I still have no idea what’s going on. There are some little swallows there coming out of her hair – which is black and not white, by the way – and then there’s blue and clouds on the background that nobody knows what they’re there for and then there are white flakes, much like snow? I don’t know what’s going on, but I’m not trying to guess and it was fun, so it’s cool.
