I swear I’ll never understand those couples who just spend longer saying goodbye than having the actual conversation. Also, all the loovey-doovey thing. It’s awkward.
Also, do not expect not to be caught when you’re declaring your love via cellphone. Because it will happen for sure. And it will be awkward.
So you think you’re on vacations, that you’re allowed to be free and not think about College? THINK AGAIN. You’ll never be free. There’s always something else to do, an email to check, a paper to pick up, enlargment pills to take. They’ll never let you go. They want your very soul. Think about it, you know it’s true.
And yes, that’s how my College’s inbox looks like. I kinda altered the e-mails so they’d make more sense.
This free time and having books to read thing kinda lead me to the funny idea of “what about making a book marker?”
It’s been a long time since I drew, well, tradicionally, and I was completely void of ideas. So I started doodling and going with the flow, maybe something nice would show. What about Angela on one side and Mikhail on the other, hein? The doodle itself took a long time to get done, especially because since I hadn’t drawn in ages, I had trouble with the faces. Those eyes were killing me.
Inking the lineart was another adventure, I tried some ideas and gave up on others and I couldn’t stop thinking about how I would have many many changes to screw it all up. But it was pleasant in the end, especially Angela’s hair:
I was getting fond of the B&W piece. But it was time for some colors – I added some base ones with these Staedtler colored-pencils, which happened to be a terrible choice. They were making the painting the most horrible task ever. Geez! At least the hair managed to look cool.
I gave up on these pencils and went for my sister’s Caran d’Ache. According to her, a nice effect shows up if you add water, so I had to give it a try. Downside was that I had already painted a bit with the other pencils and it was keeping me from doing all the wonderful things I now know I can. But I came to like the result! Not so bad at all:

And then it was just a matter of sticking the image to the card and plastify the whole. I added a few nail-cuties-thingies which nobody really uses so it would look more interesting. Deep down, I managed to screw things a lot less than I thought.
I found this little girl yesterday on an artisan’s fair and I fell in love immediately. I dated her for some 10min and then I gathered enough courage to buy her. The shop lady sewed the little ribbon’s with my Institute’s colors and I was happy to go home giggling.
She’s really small, smaller than my hands. But I like her this way, she’s very soft. And I think the looks like Angela.
There’s been a lot of Mikhal and Angela comics recently .-. But I just like the dynamics of this couple, although I know I should pay more attention to the other characters. Don’t worry, they’re loved too.
Vacations are drawing near. Afaik, another two weeks, at least for me. I don’t know if I should keep the College theme or move into some vacation theme. You help me?
Public Noms, yes. A lot of people consider that a nice thing to do, considering the amount of time they give to that, hum, sport.
Mikhail and Angie were sort of hidding their relationship – and they weren’t that good at it, apparently – but since now Mikhail’s no longer what’s considered around here as a freshman, there should be no reason for hidding, except… That they’re not really into public displays of affection.
They’ll probably just hang around like any two other fellow colleagues, this is, if Angela finds the guts to steal Mikhail from his buds every now and then.
Story of my life.
Suddenly you have a lot of work to do, then you get used to having tons of stuff due everyday and then you have nothing again and it feels like you have… An hangover.
When you’re addicted to something you’ll just look for more. So yah.
Remember when, a long, long time ago, Shizamura overheard something that could have changed a lot of lives, but didn’t?
Yeah, maybe Mikhail should think about how lucky they were that time. But seriously, he couldn’t expect Shizy to believe him; he probably sounded like he had fallen asleep in the bathtub!
Also, sort of progressive comic with a bunch of styles == awesomeness for me. What do you think?
