This one is partially based on a true story, considering it’s not the first time I’ve actually seen someone wearing both the black suit and random unauthorized accessories. Like pink bags or enourmous keychains.

When you’re wearing the Black suit (aka Traje around here), you’re supposed to do it right. And that means no extra accessories – and surely not anything with bright colors, if colored at all. And when you’re wearing it, you should also expect other people wearing it to notice… And if they happen to be in an upper rank, do not expect to go home without a little punishment (it usually includes being spanked with a little spoon, but, in lack of said spoon, with a shoe).

Keyo and I have something in common. It’s a nice relationship with work. And nothing gets in between! :D

I’d have to bring the subject back sooner or later. After all, Shizi and Keyo were going through some rough times, as it was somehow stated before and I guess Shizi just coulnd’t deal with some events. Maybe it was for the best.

So yeah, now Keyo’s off to his workaholic self. Nothing more to get in betweem. All straight 100% from now on.

Yes, Clor has a life outside college, tho I have the feeling he met her and dated her in the academic setting.

For those of you who don’t remember this pants-jizzing professor I’m mentioning, here’s a link for you to refresh your memory, so check it out. Also, mabushii is now my number 1 word for describing that nosebleed people get when they think or cross wonderful people.

Although it may look like they broke up because she was Mikhail’s professor, that’s an unfortunate word choice. They actually broke up a long, long time ago.

This one is sort of based on a true story.
I remember that before getting into College, Exams were seen as something really hard and terrible. Pretty much something you’d foccus all your energies on. I know a few people who actually started studying long long before they come – not only they did study pretty much everyday, they also studied with one or two months in advance for the exams.

I don’t think that’s even healthy. Not that it guarantees good results either. I personally am not the studying type (for some things).

On the other hand, after getting into College, the difference is tremenduous. During the first year you’ll still see people trying to study with a few months in advance… Only to notice there’s just too many things to work on and then notice the exams are but a few weeks away. But I know some cases where people actually try to keep the same habbits and not all of them are successful. I sorta of started studying for real only after getting in College and I can’t tell I was proud of my first year’s grades… But things get better.

Actually, it seems people get used to having 5 exams in the same week and sometimes even more than one a day. And they just seem to be able to study months worth of paper in two days and still get decent grades. If not actually good grades. It feels like as soon as you stop obsessing and start seeing exams as nothing more than just another test, thing get better. Much better. t’s much more of a technique thing than dedicated time, actually.

But you obviously can’t trust Clor’s words on this. It’s not like he’s getting out of College anytime time soon either.

And on the very last day, they fight Bulls. Of course, nobody’s forced to fight anyone. Actually, I don’t even think they have to fight, they mostly just jump around… Or so I hope, since I’m not too fond of bull-fighting.

And apparently so is Clor. Oh, he’s so brave.

And so, the Burning of the Ribbons begins!

At 00:01 of the first sunday of May, as usual. The following week is filled with various activities. There are usually no classes on this week so the students can have their time without messing their studies. The first day’s event is called the Monumental Serenade, which is an event where the students sing some Fado with all their might. Of course, there’s more to it than just that, but that’ll do for a short description.

It is also the day when the Godfathers and Godmathers trace their godsons’ cloacks for the first time. And then they’re able to wear the black suit as well! It is usually an emotive moment and I guess Clor’s the most affected around here.

I’ll try to give you one comic for each of the following Burning’s days :D

And so, another freshman was named!

Considering that color TV in Portugal started being broadcasted a mere thirty years ago, that would mean Clor indeed is pretty old. But I think these “Legends” aren’t really in touch with the reality.

But that’s why they’re called Legends, right? :D Clor’s more of a Myth, actually.
